Two jars sold as the same size can have different label panels. Start with the container you will actually fill.
On hexagonal jars, a front label can sit on one flat face. A label crossing multiple faces needs a fit review.
- Measure the smooth panel’s width and height, keeping clear of ribs, shoulders and seams.
- For a lid, measure the flat center inside the raised edge; for a wrap, measure around the chosen label position.
- Cut a paper sample, tape it in place and check it from the front and side before entering the finished dimensions.

What size label fits my honey jar?
Measure the smooth label panel on your exact jar. Capacity alone is not enough: mason, queenline and hexagonal jars have different contours. A paper mockup is the quickest way to check coverage before ordering.
Can I order matching front and lid labels?
Yes, you can build separate shapes and sizes for the jar front and lid. Keep the same artwork style and give each file a clear name so the two pieces stay easy to identify.
Will a label work on a plastic squeeze bottle?
Share the plastic type, bottle shape and how much it flexes. Ask Carrco to confirm the construction for that bottle, then check an applied sample under your normal use conditions.
What information should go on a honey label?
Have your product information and claims reviewed for your market before approving artwork. FDA’s honey labeling guidance is a useful U.S. starting point; Carrco’s print proof checks the artwork, not regulatory compliance.
How do I organize different honey varieties?
Use one consistent layout with a clearly visible variety name and a distinct accent color. Send a separate final file and quantity for each version; confirm how those versions will be priced before ordering.
