Start with your packaging

A label for every part of your product.

Build a consistent family of labels around the way you package, sell and reorder.

01

Pickle jar front labels

Make the recipe name and cut easy to see while leaving your preferred view of the product. Work within the smooth panel of the jar.

Rectangle, oval or custom shape
02

Lid & batch labels

Add a matching lid identity or a dedicated place for batch information. Confirm your marking method if you need to write or print changing details later.

Circle or rectangle
03

Relish & pickled vegetable labels

Keep one recognizable brand across relish, peppers, onions and mixed vegetables. Adjust the layout to each jar rather than stretching the same artwork.

Get the fit right

Find the smooth panel on the jar.

Jar volume, wide-mouth lids and mason-style glass do not share one universal label size. Measure the exact pieces in your packaging run.

If your label crosses a textured area, narrow the placement or request a fit review with photos before committing to the dimensions.

  1. Measure the panel height between the shoulder and base, noting embossing or raised measurement marks.
  2. For a front label, choose the visible width; for a wrap, mark the intended gap or overlap on a paper strip.
  3. Check the paper mockup on a filled jar and measure the lid separately inside its raised edge.

Material, finish & application

Include the brine, cold and filling conditions.

Tell us whether the product is refrigerated or shelf stored, when the label is applied and what spills or wiping it will face. Confirm the construction for the complete process.

  • Jar surface and preparation before labeling
  • Container temperature at label application
  • Refrigeration, condensation and brine contact
  • Any later date marking or batch coding method

What size label fits a mason jar of pickles?

Measure the smooth area between raised details on your actual jar. Some mason-style jars leave only a small flat panel, so use a paper mockup to confirm the fit.

Can the labels handle refrigerated pickle jars?

Tell Carrco the application temperature, storage conditions and expected condensation. Confirm the full material and adhesive construction, then test an applied sample on your jar under those conditions.

Can I apply the labels before canning or heat processing?

Do not assume the online label construction is suitable for that process. Share your exact time, temperature and exposure requirements with Carrco before ordering; the application sequence needs to be confirmed.

Can I add a batch or best-by area?

Include the reserved area in your artwork and tell Carrco whether you will use a pen, stamp or printer. Confirm that the finish works with your chosen marking method before printing the run.

Can you print the ingredients and nutrition information?

Include the final reviewed information in your artwork. Check readability at finished size, and use current FDA resources and your product reviewer for the content requirements that apply.

Can I use one design for different jar sizes?

Keep the visual style consistent, but prepare a correctly sized layout for each jar. Review small text and code sizes separately so resizing does not make them difficult to use.
